AlI well and good. I am more interested, however, in what will be going on in the minds of ordinary Chinese working people during a period of rising expectations, which these coming decades promise to be. Will they find happiness in their everyday lives with no changes needed? Or will they hunger for new ways of living and working that might not be in keeping with the goals of a one-party state? Could there possibly be seeds for a new kind of consumer-oriented, capitalist, counter-revolution even though they call it "socialism, but with Chinese characteristics"? https://shorturl.at/o4DBn

Thanks, Steve, for the usually well-informed view of China vs the United States.

Please do a podcast on the level of research on human genetic engineering and psychometrics in China or elsewhere. As you know, this is one of my interests.
