Probably a good thing TBF, less dangerous AI race dynamics then.
The 1% went into semiconductor/GPU/algo catchup.
AI Safety, which includes LLM finetuning for censorship (including for wokenss, as in the West) is a separate category. We didn't spend a lot on that in the game until the end.
